On behalf of our client we are looking asap for an Support Engineer next to Munich.

Responsibilities
• Perform Application Management activities
• Microsoft Windows and Linux Servers
• Detailed problem analysis
• Incident recovery support
• Implementation management for new products
• Technical migrations (Operating System-, DB-migrations, Application Server upgrades)
Requirements
• Minimum two years of working experience in comparable position
• Experience in running, supporting and managing high availability infrastructures (24/7/365 >99.9% uptime requirements)
• Experience with administration of Windows and Linux Server technology, Apache Web Server optimization and tuning, J2EE Application Server Technology (Oracle WebLogic and JBoss)
• Good knowledge of Monitoring Solutions, Network Devices, Firewalls, TCP/IP Protocols and Scripting Tools
• Ability to sort through complex issues, perform root cause analysis and conduct comparative analysis of multiple solutions
• Ability to plan and coordinate complex Implementations
• A strong sense of process, details and follow through (based on ITIL Standard)
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Multicultural approach and ability to work in a multinational environment
• Pro-active personality
