Probleme bei Installation eines Patches !
Hallo Zusammen,
ich muss sagen ich mache mit Linux eigentlich nicht viel. Daher wohl auch mein Problem.
Ich bin per SSH mit ROOT auf einer RED Hat Kiste 4.1 eingeloggt.
Nun scheinen einige Commands nicht zu gehen.
Ich habe den Artikel hier :

Nun bin ich auf der Redhat Seite :

Da heisst es •How to download and upgrade to the latest version of Bash to make sure my system is not vulnerable to CVE-2014-6271?
Dann bin ich hier
https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2014-6271
Nun wähle ich errate Version 4 an. Komme hier hin
https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2014-1294.html
Und Befehler wie hier
https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258
Werden schon auf der SSH nicht erkannt.
Wie kann man den Patch einspielen ?

das Zauberwort heisst Paketmanager von redhat und das ist rpm.
Schaust Du hier:

Dann mal die bash version herausfinden und upgraden wenn es denn ein upgrade in den Reporitories schon gibt.
also: rpm -qi bash
und upgraden dann mit: rpm -U bash
z.B.
