Outlook 2010 mit Exchange 2013 verbinden. Nur RPC over HTTP?
Hallo zusammen,
Outlook 2010 kann man mit Exchange 2007 per MAPI verbinden.
Exchange 2013 unterstützt ja MAPI nicht mehr.
D.h. auch intern kann man Outlook mit Exchange 2013 nur per RPC over HTTP verbinden oder verstehe ich es falsch?

Jup, Exchange Server 2013 verwendet kein MAPI-Protokoll mehr, sondern bindet auch interne Clients per RPC über HTTPS, auch Outlook Anywhere genannt, an die Postfächer an. Das pure MAPI-Protokoll wird nicht mehr eingesetzt, bzw. findet erst ab SP1 eine Wiederbelebung via Mapi over HTTPS.
