Speichern von EXE BAT Files auf shares verbieten lassen?
Hallo,
gibt es beim Server 2003 standard edition die Möglichkeit innerhalb eines Shares bestimmte Dateiarten zu verbieten, insbesondere Datenbankdateien und ausführbare Dateien?
Ich möchte einen Share säubern und nur für Dokumente offen halten.

Falls Du die R2-Version hast: nimm die neue Kontingentverwaltung zu diesem Zweck.

Policy Management
File Screening in File Server Resource Manager addresses the issue of Policy Management (as discussed earlier in this document.) Administrators typically have no easy way to control the type of data stored on file servers. Unwanted content must be identified manually. File screening can help eliminate non-business files, thereby improving storage utilization and reducing management costs. Implementing policies to restrict unauthorized files also limits legal exposure and can help promote a culture of accountability.
File screens can be applied to a folder tree or volume. Screening rules are based on file groups allowing for differing policies for different sets of files. Screening itself is based on file name patterns (i.e. *.mp3, FY04*). Rules apply to all user files in the folder. Passive and active screening is supported. Passive screening events are simply recorded in the audit log. Active screens can prevent file name patterns from being saved as well as generating logging events. (Note: This functionality is only supported on NTFS volumes.)

Jetzt lass mich raten: Mit der Version die wir hierfür verwenden, Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition SP1, funtioniert das natürlich nicht. Ich suche mich nämlich zur Zeit tot an dem feature.

Ich schrieb doch gleich zuerst: nur bei Edition R2. Habt Ihr diese, muss der File Server resource manager installiert werden, dies ist eine Serverrolle.
