Mac adresse, computername ändern und in domäne hinzufügen und zwar automatisiert

servus leute,

folgendes szenario:. es wurden auf 50 linux rechnern windows xp vm-images verteilt - sprich überall liegt das selbe vmware template. So all diese Rechner haben jetzt zwar ne vmware doch ohne computernamen und auch noch nicht zur domäne hinzugefügt. Wegen den sicherheitsleuten haben wir eine Liste von vorgegebenen MAC-Adressen: Also vmware01 hat dann die MAC 001002340311 usw. usw. Es besteht also eine txt file.

Wie bekomme ich es nun hin folgende Dinge automatisiert hinzubekommen?
1. Der VM eine MAC zuweisen
2. Der VM einen Compputernamen zuweisen
3. Netzwerkeinstellungen = DHCP
4. Die VM in Domäne aufnehmen

Hallo cyaency,

meine Vnware Kenntisse sind zwar eingerostet, aber du solltest dich wohl mal mit vmrun auseinandersetzen.
BTW: welches Llinux welche VMware Ws/Server ?

also habe RHEL5.3 und VMware Workstation 6.0 und Windows XP 32bit installiert
