Windows 8 IMAP Support für die Metro Mail App
Ich dachte schon, Microsoft würde die IMAP Unterstützung für sein eingebautes Metro Mail Programm vergessen.
Gute Nachrichten für Windows 8 User die den IMAP Support in der Mail App bisher schmerzlich vermissten.
Im Windows 8 Blog - Building the Mail app findet sich eine kleine Passage, worin der Microsoft Mitarbeiter Steven Sinofsky indirekt den IMAP Support bestätigt. Hier das Original Zitat:
UPDATE: In der Windows RTM Version (Build 9200) werden IMAP und SMTP von dem Metro-Mail Programm wieder unterstützt.
