No TX buffer credits
Einen angenehmen guten Tag!
Ich überwache einige Server und die dazugehörige Infrastruktur (Switche, SAN, etc.) mit einem Nagios.
Das Nagios meldet auf einzelnen Ports von zwei verschiedenen Switchen:
CRIT - ISL at 8Gbit/s, In: 253.56KB/s, Out: 649.19KB/s, no TX buffer credits: 34.13%CRIT, Phy:inSync(6), Op:online(1), Adm:online(1)
Was hat dieser Wert zu bedeuten? Ich hab da keinen Ansatz gefunden und würde mich über eine Erklärung oder einen Fingerzeig sehr freuen. Vor allem: Wie kritisch ist die Meldung?

Tut es nicht, aus den dort hinterlegten Erklärungen werde ich auch nicht wirklich schlauer.

As buffers are a flow control mechanism, it means the switch (and thus hosts) is unable to push more frames to
your RAMSAN as credits are not returned fast enough. For now you could conclude that your RAMSAN is not used
fully to the capabilities it has.
Does the RAMSAN have more ports connected to the same or other switch(es) and does it show the same behaviour on > those ports as well?
