Ofice 2010 Setup läßt sich nicht mehr starten
Hallo,
ich habe auf einem Windows 2008 Std (32bit) Office 2010 installiert.
Da sich die letzten 4 Office Updates nicht installieren lassen, bin ich in einem Forum auf den Hinweis gestoßen Office 1x zu deinstallieren und neu zu installieren.
Wenn ich die Setup.exe aber aufrufe, kommt sehr schnell "Setup funktioniert nicht mehr"

als erstes überprüfe mit gpedit.msc ob in der lokalen Policy irgendwelche Änderungen vorgenommen wurden. Dazu kannst du in den Zweigen "Administrative Templates" den Filter verwenden um nur geänderte Elemente anzeigen zu lassen.
Dann stellst du das Verbose-Logging für das Office Setup ein, wie das geht steht hier:

da scheinen Registry-Einträge nicht mehr zu stimmen. Gehe bitte die Schritte zum manuellen Entfernen von Office in folgendem Link durch(wie oben schon geschrieben), dann solltest du keine Probleme mehr haben:

da scheinen Registry-Einträge nicht mehr zu stimmen. Gehe bitte die Schritte zum manuellen Entfernen von Office in folgendem Link durch(wie oben schon geschrieben), dann solltest du keine Probleme mehr haben:

ich habe mich heute mal dran gemacht und Office per Hand deinstalliert. Hatte das die ganze Zeit vor mich her geschoben.
Nach der Deinstallation kann ich das Setup nun aufrufen und die Installation lauft auch.
Am Ende kommt aber nur die Installation ist mit einem Fehler abgeschlossen worden, aber keinen Hinweis auf welchen.
In der Ereignis-Anzeige ist auch nichts zu sehen.
Stehe jetzt kurz davor den Rechner (ist zudem noch ein Server) neu zu installieren.
