WSUS Installation Abbruch
ich habe ein Problem bei der Installation von WSUS auf einem Windows 2003 Server.
Alle Softwareanforderungen sollten erfüllt sein:
- Microsoft Internetinformationsdienste (IIS) 6.0
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
- Intelligenter Hintergrundübertragungsdienst (BITS) 2.9
Die Installation wird bei "Webanwendungen werden konfiguriert" abgebrochen.
Ich habe bereits eine Website mit dem Internetinformationdienst Manager erstellt und die 1. Website gelöscht,
auch die Berechtigungen im Ordner C:\INETPUB sind korrekt.
Was kann das sein?

Ich denke der Fehler war die erste Webseite zu loeschen.
Der WSUS braucht irgendwas vom Webserver als Einstieg, um seine virtuelle Seite zu konfigurieren.
Mein Vorschlag: Webserver neu installieren, dann WSUS installieren und dann die 1. Webseite deaktivieren und nicht loeschen (wenn ueberhaupt, bzw. wozu eigentlich).

Google hat zu dem Thema auf die Schnelle folgende Tipps:
- Stelle sicher dass der Server-Dienst läuft.
- Wenn auf dem Server ein Terminalserver im Anwendungsmodus läuft, muss dieser deinstalliert, WSUS reinstalliert und abschließend der Terminalserver wieder installiert werden.
- Bei der Installation sollten alle Antivirenprogramme deaktiviert sein.
- Wenn der IIS installiert wurde, bevor der Server zum DC gemacht wurde, sollte der IIS reinstalliert werden.

Nein, die wsus.exe habe ich extra lokal auf c:\ gelegt.
Das mit der ersten Website löschen habe ich von auf der Knowledge Base SIte von Microsoft gefunden.
