Toshiba Satellite P100 - 354 CMOS Reset
Passwort vergessen und weiß nicht mehr weiter. Brauche dringent Hilfe
Hallo ich hab ein Problem un zwar hab ich zu Weihnachten einen schönen neuen Toshiba Satellite P100 - 354 bekommen und in der Windows Systemsteuerung ein Passwort eingestellt. Jetzt muss ich wenn ich den Rechner starte eine art BIOS Passwort eingeben. Das Problem dabei ist das dass Passwort was ich vergeben hab irgendwie nicht das richtige ist. Was soll ich jetzt machen??? Gibt es eine Möglichkeit das u umgehen bzw. ein CMOS Reset durch zu führen??? Es wäre wirklich nett wenn mir jemand hlfen könnte. Bin für alle Antworten dankbar.

Mein Gott!!! Es is aber verdammt nochmal ein Notfall. Ja sicherlich will ich das knacken aber nur weil ich es selber nicht mehr weiß. wollt ihr evtl noch die Telefonnummer von dem MediaMarkt wo er gekauft wurde??? Mit Seriennummer uns sonst was??? Das finde ich echt beschissen wenn einem gleich wieder sonst was unterstellt wird. Also kennt wer eine möglichkeit? Wenn nicht dann muss ich das machen was ich eigendlich vermeiden wollte und zwar ihn einzuschicken.

wenn du die Regeln dieses Forums studierst und die bisherigen Beiträge zum Thema Passwort knacken liest, solltest du dir deine Fragen und Kommentare eigentlich sparen können.
Vielleicht solltest du dich einfach mal wo anders umhören.
Jemand der ein Biospasswort vergibt und es vergisst oder falsch notiert, sollte auch in der Lage sein für dieses Problem eine Lösung zu finden.

Hmm, das gleiche Problem hatte ich jetzt auch. Und das gerät ist nicht gestohlen oder sonstwas... die passwortabfrage ohne benutzeraktion (also benutzer hat plötzlich ein passwort, obwohl er nie eins eingestellt hat) ist ein eingebauter fehler in diesem Laptop 
nur mal so nebenbei.
in anderen foren gab es folgende lösung, habe die allerdings selber nicht probiert, ausserdem ist sie in englisch
so if you would like the answer here it is. Toshiba has a known problem with this model of laptop. It has been known to set its bios password by itself. It is a simple fix, but should be done by a proffesional. There is no charge for this repair at a toshiba repair center.
If you want, this is what needs to be done. Remove the piece of plastic above the keyboard. Unscrew the 2 screws in the keyboard and lift the keyboard up( No reason to disconnect it ) Unscrew and remove the modem card in the center. There is 2 solder points c88 on the system board. You need to short those 2 points out while you press the power button on. This will reset the bios password. This should take someone about 5 minutes to do.
I will tell you this for free, the modem card is under keyboard and looks like a rectangle component and is removed kind of like a piece of ram. Keep it or share it. this is free

As it is mentioned here, on January, 02/2008 I faced the same problem.
When I go for lunch I left it open (with out shut it down), then when I came back after one & half-hour. Then I found it as usual it hibernates and closed. When I tried to power on, it asks me the pass word to enter which I didn’t set before. I tried to give what I think of the default pass word but it can not be solved. When I ask the supplier they say this kind of problem is difficult to solve and will not cover by the warranty. Even if it is bought in less than six months period and its warranty period is not yet expired. What will be the solution for this kind of problem? Please help me.
