Additional status BBU problem

Was hat das zu bedeuten ? Uns wurde von einer ext. Firma ein "rund-um-sorglos-Server" hingestellt - neben dem Status der Datensicherung kommen aber solche Emails - die Firma behauptet das sei alles normal - nur irgendwie glauben wir das nicht und hätten gerne mal eine dritte Meinung....

Hallo,

nicht unbedingt, einige Controller machen auch einen Batterietest, bei dem dann solche Alarmmeldungen rauspurzeln.

Wenn die Meldungen regelmäßig alle X Wochen kommen, dann könnte es das hier der Fall sein.

Falls nicht spricht einiges für einen kaputten Akku auf dem RAID-Controller.

Eigentlich sagt die Meldung viel eher, das alles OK ist:

Natürlich lädt und entlädt jeder RAID-Controller öfters mal die BBU, was auch die folgen in der Write-Policy bedeutet, aber das sollte nicht zu einer Fehlermeldung führen.
