Automatische Signatur unter Exchange 5.5????

Hallo,

Ever wanted to add a company wide disclaimer to all your external emails? Well now you can with this handy little IMS extension that allows you to attach a message to every e-mail your company sends or receives.
PRE-REQUISITES: Exchange 5.5 Service Pack 1

OVERVIEW

1. Copy the IMSEXT.DLL to Exchange
2. Register the DLL
3. Configure Exchange
4. Configure the Server
5. Stop and restart Exchange

1. Copy IMSEXT.DLL to your Exchange server

Press the link below to download the IMSEXT.DLL

Save the DLL in EXCHANGE\CONNECT\MSEXCIMC\BIN directory on your service.
DOWNLOAD IMSEXT.DLL

2. Register the DLL

START, PROGRAMS, COMMAND PROMPT

Change to the directory where you copied the file and type REGSVR32 IMSEXT.DLL

(Sample screen is shown below)

You should get a confirmation screen, press OK

3. Configure Exchange

START, PROGRAMS, MICROSOFT EXCHANGE, EXCHANGE ADMINISTRATOR and double click Internet Mail Service.

Select the routing tab and tick the box and use browse to locate the file you copied as below.

Press OK , and press OK to the confirmation screen. From the menu choose FILE, EXIT to close the Administrator.

Save the following registry file and run it on the server. This contains a generic disclaimer and additional settings to ensure routing works.

SAVE THIS FILE AND RUN ON THE SERVER

You can alter the message by editing the saved copy of your file and the re-running the file on the server.

4. Stop and Restart the Exchange Mail Connector

START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, SERVICES

Highlight Microsoft Exchange Internet Mail Service and press STOP then press START.

Send some test emails and you should find that all external emails should now include a disclaimer!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
