Defektes ZIP-file
Sind wenigstens Teile zu retten?
Hallo Kollegen,
ich habe aus einer Datensicherung eine gepackte Datei (ZIP) von ca. 60MB. Offensichtlich ist diese Datei defekt.
Beim Versuch sie mit WinZIP zu entpacken, kommt folgende Meldung:
Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive. Please press F1 for help.
Und die F1-Taste liefert:
Message WZ40
The Zip cannot be opened. If this Zip is part of a backup set, please insert the last disk of the backup set and try again. Both PKUNZIP and WinZip need the last disk of the backup set to read the end-of-central-folder record. You may subsequently be prompted to insert other disks from the backup set. This is normal PKUNZIP operation and is not specific to WinZip.
If this Zip is not part of a backup set it may be corrupted. You can try running the PKZIPFIX program distributed with PKZIP to "fix" the archive.
Gibt es irgendeine Möglichkeit wenigstens an einige der Dateien aus dem Inhalt der ZIP-Datei zu kommen?

möglicherweise ist es auch nur beschädigt.
in solchen Fällen hat mir das Tool IZArc gute Dienste geleistet.
zu finden unter: http://www.izarc.org/download.html
Die Reparaturoptionen sind dort nicht schlecht.

hatten die alten zip nicht eine größenbeschränkung von 2gb ? man konnte zwar größere archive erzeugen, bekam beim entpacken dann aber eien fehlermeldung.
Sorry, in der Aufregung über die möglicherweise verlorenen Daten ein Schreibfehler.
