Bei Dump kommt folgender Fehler Bad magic number in super-block while opening filesystem

Wenn ich einen Dump meines SLES machen möchte erscheint folgende Meldung in der Console:

  1. dump -0au -f/dev/st0 /
DUMP: Date of this level 0 dump: Thu Mar 5 12:41:12 2009
DUMP: Dumping /dev/mapper/system-system (/) to /dev/st0
/dev/mapper/system-system: Bad magic number in super-block while opening filesystem
DUMP: The ENTIRE dump is aborted.

Mit einem fsck erhalte ich nun folgende Meldung:

reiserfsck --check started at Thu Mar 5 12:40:02 2009
Partition /dev/system/system is mounted with write permissions, cannot check it
fsck.reiserfs /dev/system/system failed (status 0x10). Run manually!


Das Filesystem ist sonst wie folgt aufgebaut:

sda und sdb bilden md1
sdc und sdd bilden md2
sde und sdf bilden md3
sdg und sdh bilden md4

md3 und md4 bilden zusätzlich das LVM opt

Hat jemand ne Idee wo ich einen Fehler begangen haben könnte?

Das dump auf meinem System meint es ist wäre ein Backuptool für ext2 und ext3-Dateisysteme.

Du hast deine Partitonen aber mit Reiserfs formatiert, damit kann das Tool nix anfangen.

Dateisysteme erkennt man auf low level an "magic numbers" und da hat Reiser eine andere als ext2/3.
