Edge Transportserver: Address Rewriting
Hey,
Platforms: Outlook 2016, Exchange 2013
Wir haben einen Edge Transport Server aufgesetzt um die Email-Adresse mayer@contoso.com in sales@contoso.com nach außen umzuschreiben.
Hierbei ist sales@contoso.com eine Gruppe.
Nun besteht das Problem, dass die Nachrichten die als Antwort kommen an mayer@contoso.com gehen aber an sales@ontoso.com sollen.
Hier habe ich nachgelesen, dass man -OutboundOnly einstellen kann und sales@contoso.com dann als "ProxyAdresse" bei mayer@contoso.com einträgt.
Leider bekomme ich die Meldung, dass sales@contoso.com schon an die Gruppe vergeben ist.

Hi,
the proxy address is only needed if the sender mayer@.... should receive the incoming mail to sales@..... But you already have a distribution group with the mail sales@.... so the proxy address is not needed at all and cannot be assigned twice.
So when the address rewrite is done outbound only this should work out of the box. If you want mayer@.... to receive the mails to sales@... too, then add him to the distribution group or add an additional transport rule which sends a copy to mayer@....
You can also give mayer@.... "Send As" rights to for sales@..... and then choose sales@.... as sender address in Outlook.
