Fehler 80080005 beim Update von Windows7 über wsus 3.0sp2

ich habe das bei ein paar Rechnern in meinen Netzwerk das automatische Update mit dem Fehler 80080005 fehlschlägt.
Die Rechner laufen mit Windows 7 Prof 32bit und beziehen die Updates über einen wsus 3.0 sp2 Server.
Anfangs funktionierten die Updates auf den Rechnern ohne Probleme dann gab es bei ein paar Updates den Fehlercode 800705aa
8007371c diese Updates wurden dann aber später als erfolgreich installiert angezeigt. Danach kam es dann aber zu besagten Fehler 80080005.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit unter Windows 7 das Updatesystem neu zu installieren/reseten?
Alle KB einträge und Downloadmöglichkeiten des Windowsupdateagent die ich gefunden habe beziehen sich nur auf Windows Vista oder älter. Bzw gibt es eine Möglichkeit, wie damals unter W2K alle Systemdatein von der Installtionscd neu auf die HD schreiben zu lassen (quasi eine Reparaturinstallation ohne das alle Programme neu installiert werden müßen)?
