fli4l-DSL kein Kontakt zw. clients
Erstmal ein freundliches "Hallo" an alle und ein Lob für die detaillierten
Suchfunktionen; eine gute Hilfe !
Dies wird mein erster Beitrag - ich hoffe, soweit alles "richtig" zu machen, Danke !

bei allem, was ich bisher gesichtet habe zu meinem Problem, mutet es mir inzwischen
seltsam "banal" an - aber vielleicht gerade deswegen finde ich keine Lösung.
Problem:
Die clients meines LANs können nicht miteinander kommunizieren (genau genommen
ist es in diesem Zustand ja nicht mal eins).
Situation:
Ich betreibe einen fli4l-router zwischen einem switch und einem DSL-Modem,
als Disketten-Version. Verkabelung, NICs, IPs - alles standard, der internet-Zugang
macht keine Probleme. Insgesamt sind 4 PCs (alle Win XP, 3x prof., 1x home) angeschlossen.
Ein DHCP-server läuft nicht, IPs sind manuell eingetragen, alle in einem subnet (natürlich),
standard-gateway und DNS-server sind auf den clients eingetragen.
Was es alles nicht gibt:
W-Lan, VPN, IpCop, 2 Netzwerke, portforwarding für spezielle progs, Domäne, ISDN ...
Was ich beobachte:
Die clients kommen problemlos ins www, imonc läuft auf meiner Kiste,
alles prima, alles fast ethernet. ping-Versuche zwischen den clients: Zeitüberschreitung.
Suche in Windows nach Netzwerk-Rechnern: ergebnislos, nichts.
Wenn der fli4l mal ausfällt/einfriert (ich muß im Bios wohl ein paar Stromspar-Modi
abstellen), die hardware aber ansonsten läuft, dann können sich die clients untereinander erreichen !?
Fehlen da nun Einträge in der config des routers ?
Oder fehlen Einstellungen auf der Windows-client-Seite ?

Und wenn Du den Fli vom Switch abziehst, dann kannst Du bei den Windowsclients Freigaben einrichten und darauf zugreifen usw. ?

Ob der Fli4l am Netz ist oder nicht sollte für das Win Netz keinerlei Einfluss haben.
Letztlich ist das auch nur ein Netzteilnehmer mehr nicht.
Die zusätzliche Route ins .7.0er Netz ist dann natürlich Unsinn wenn du dieses Netz lokal nicht betreibst !
Das solltest du dann mit "#" besser auskommentieren.
Vermutlich ist dein Problem DNS basierend. Da du in deinem Netzwerk keinen WINS Server betreibst basiert die Netzwerkumgebung auf UDP Broadcast was laut MS Knowledgebase bis zu 45 Minuten dauern kann bis alle sichtbar sind.
Da dieser Prozess immer wieder von neuem angestossen werden muss und 45 recht lang werden können, ist es besser tu trägst alle deine PC gegenseitig statisch in die Datei lmhosts oder hosts ein bei allen PCs im Netz untereinander !!!
Dies umgeht den Broadcast Prozess und alle PCs sind sofort sichtbar untereinander !
Du findest diese Datei unter C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\
als .sam (=sample =Beispiel) Datei und kopierst sie in die lmhosts ohne Extension, die du dann bearbeitest.
Die Datei ist selbsterklärend wenn du sie editierst und es reicht wenn du Name und IP dazu einträgst deiner PCs.
Ein Ping der PCs untereinander mit dem Namen zeigt dir ob die Datei funktioniert wenn du eine Antwort bekommst.
Folgende Dinge sollten dafür zwingend eingerichtet sein:

und dann dort den Namen einer deiner PCs...oder nslookup <name_pc> geht auch.
Kann er den nicht auflösen oder forwardet der den an den Provider DNS (der ihn natürlich NICHT auflösen kann!) hat der Fli4l nur einen proxy DNS !
Dann MUSST du die Datei hosts oder lmhosts wie oben beschrieben customizen.
Mach es doch spaßesshalber mal bei einem PC...ist ja kein Aufwand und zeigt dir dann in Sekunden obs das war oder nicht !!!
