HP Proliant ML350G6 Installationfehler
System erkennt Festplatten nicht wenn Raid aktiviert wird
Hallo!
Ich wollte heute einen HP Proliant ML350G6, 8 GB mit 4 x 250 GB Festplatten und Raid 1 (jeweils 2 Platten) installieren.
Dazu habe ich zuerst im Bios den Raidcontroller aktiviert und danach die Arrays angelegt was auch gut funktioniert hat.
Nachdem ich nun den Windows Small Business Server Standard installieren wollte, wurden die Festplatten nicht erkannt und es kam eine entsprechende Fehlermeldung.
Eine Installation mit deaktiviertem Raid Controller ist möglich - hier werden die Laufwerke alle erkannt.
Ich habe die Installation sowohl über die HP DVD (Smartstart) versucht - hier kam immer wieder die Fehlermeldung, dass eine Datei nicht gefunden wird (in der Eingabeaufforderung) und der Rechner ging in eine Endlosschleife und startete alle paar Minuten neu.
Bei der Direktinstallation wäre eine Installation ohne Raid möglich - das will ich aber nicht und mit Raid kommt obiges Problem.
Mache ich etwas falsch oder liegt es am Gerät.
In den Bioseinstellungen hab ich ausser der Aktivierung des Raid Controllers nichts verändert - somit sollte von da her kein Problem kommen - oder?
Achja - beim Bootvorgang wird das vor definierte Raid 1 mit den beiden Laufwerken mit je 2 Platten korrekt angezeigt.
Nachdem ich mich zwar generell bei Windows sehr gut auskenne, aber auch nicht alle Tage einen Server installiere hoffe ich hier auf gute Tipps.

hatte das selbe Problem auf einem ML310G5p. HP scheint es nicht zu schaffen, die Treiber für die raid-controller mit auf ihre "smart-start"-CD (was dem Wort smart gleich wieder eine neue Bedeutung gibt) zu pressen.
Der Support äußerte sich wie folgt:
"To resolve this issue, keep the default settings in the server BIOS
Go to GP web page HP Embedded G5 SATA RAID Controller Driver for Microsoft Windows Server 2008 x64 Editions to download the driver for embedded SATA raid controller that makes the installation successful.
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.js ...
Download the file cp013131.exe on any Microsoft Windows operating system computer,
Extract the file on floppy
Pass on this floppy when the installation prompts to provide the controller driver.
DETAILS
Soon after starting the Windows installation, a screen titled Install Windows will appear with the prompt "Where do you want to install Windows?" At this screen, perform the following:
Select the target drive and partition for the installation.
Select "Load Driver" (located near the bottom of the screen) to load the driver for the Embedded SATA RAID Controller."
Ging damit auch passabel, musste aber die Original-Installations-DVD von MS nehmen ....
Ergo: Treiber mit Hand runter laden und der Installation anbieten ...
