Probleme mit Veritas Backup Exec 9.1 SP2 und Exchange auf SBS 2003 (Zugriff verweigert bei oeffentlichen Ordnern/Exchange Mailboxen) SOLVED
Ich versuche hier, mit einem auf einem Windows 2003 Server laufenden Backup Exec 9.1 einen SBS 2003 Server zu sichern - habe mich bzgl. Einstellungen an TheDonMiguel's Tutorial gehalten (danke), wenn ich allerdings versuche, die oeffentlichen Ordner von Exchange bzw. die Exchange Mailboxen zur Sicherung auszuwaehlen, bekomme ich nur ein "Zugriff verweigert".
- Die Remote-Agent Version ist ident mit der des BackupExec Servers (9.1.4691.35) - das ist das SP2.
- Der User, unter dem saemtliche BackupExec Dienste laufen hat eine eineindeutige Exchange Mailbox (die auch ueber Exchange-Webaccess anwaehlbar ist etc)
- Restrict Anonymous Support enabled (auf beiden Servern)
- Logon as a service" + "Act as a part of the operating system" + "Create a token object" habe ich fuer den User gesetzt
- habe mich an saemtliche in Veritas Backup 9.1 Sicherung von einzelnen Mailboxen von TheDonMiguel gegebene Ratschlaege gehalten bzw. diese ausgefuehrt.
- beide Server sind bzgl. Windows Updates am neuesten Stand.
Tja .. was soll ich noch sagen - das Durchsuchen der Veritas-Foren hat mich auch nicht auf einen gruenen Zweig gebracht.
Das Backup des Microsoft Information Store und der Partitionen des SBS 2003 funktioniert.

das Problem hatte ich auch mal, nachdem ich den Administrator aus der Outlook Adressbuchanzeige herausgenommen habe. Nachdem ich ihn wieder anzeigen liess, ging es... Probier mal und sagh mir Bescheid!

account maintenance, I checked the "hide account from address lists" on the
backup account so it wouldn't show up on our Global Address List (some of
my users have complained about people on the list who aren't really people).
This simple action caused the backup to fail (and caused the issue with
not being able to open the mailboxes).?
