Server Error in "/WSUSAdmin" Application.
Nach der Installation der WSUS-Dienste lief alles problemlos, auch nach dem Neustart.
Musste jedoch meinen Server ein zweites Mal neustarten und komme seitdem nicht mehr auf die WSUSAdmin-Seite:

Habe dieses Problem aus heiterem Himmel seit einigen Tagen auch. Auserdem bekomme ich als tägl. Meldungen (Serverstatus per EMail) auch nur einen Fehlertext.
Der Server wurde erst vor ca. 1,5 Jahren aufgesetzt. Alle Updates drauf und es wurde auch nicht dran herumgespielt.

leider kann ich jetzt auch nicht mehr reproduzieren, was der fehler war oder woran es lag, aber ich meine, es war irgend ein problem zwischen asp.net und den internet informations diensten.
hast du evtl einstellungen an den internet informations diensten geändert oder eine neuere version der .net framework installiert?
schau doch einfach mal unter:

und probier mal, ob das hilft.
ansonsten deinstalliere mal die .net framwork und installiere gleich die neueste version davon.
das könnte das problem auch beheben!

Variante 1, installation von Framework 1.1.x per Befehlszeile wie bei MS beschrieben brachte gestern nix.
Kann mir nicht vorstellen das nach dieser Aktion eine neuinstallation was verändert. Werde es aber auch testen am Wochenende.
Geändert hatte ich im System nichts. Nur Updates aufgespielt. Am 09. oder 10. glaube ich.
Laut der Meldung ist doch irgendwie wieder mal nur ein Verweis oder so fehlerhaft. Es ist wirklich sehr unschön mit immer wieder solchen Macken in einer Server-Installation. Und ich nutze alles nur standardmäßig.
Übrigens lautet die genaue Meldung in beim Serverleistungsbericht:
