Vmware Server 2.0.2 bleibt bei installation auf W7 x64 hängen
VMware Server 2.0.2 bleibt bei der Installation auf W7 64Bit bei Tomcat hängen.
Hallo Admins,
ich möchte nach meinem OS Umzug auf Windows 7 64bit wieder meinen VMware Server in der V 2.0.2 installieren.
Leider bleibt die installation bei der Angabe
"Tomcat Server wird installiert" hängen und bewegt sich keinen Bit mehr weiter.
Auf meinen "alten" System mit Vista 64bit lief alles perfekt.
Habt Ihr hier evtl. einen Rat für mich?
Mein System: Intel DP35DP, Intel Q6600 4Kern, 8Gig RAM, usw,...

Da jetzt nichtmals Windows Server 2008 R2 aufgelistet ist (gleichauf mit Windows 7), weiß ich gar nicht, ob das überhaupt
schon unterstützt wird.
Was dir natürlich nichts bringt - aber vielleicht hat die nächste Version Windows 7 support.
Ich weiß, dass ESX auch erst seit kurzem überhaupt Guesttools für Windows 7 anbietet.
Vielleicht kann ein Anderer mehr dazu sagen!?

Ansonsten nimm VBOX, ist eh viel besser und klappt auch (hab ich auch - fahre auch W7 Ultimate 64 Bit!)
