Vorbereitung der AD für EX2010 - Fehler

Hallo, Ich arbeite in einer kleineren Firma (ca. 30 PC-Mitarbeiter), in der ich die IT überschrieben bekommen habe...
Mein jetziges bestreben, ist es den Exchange 2003

Nun also mein Problem:

Ich habe zwei W2K3 und einen W2K8 Domaincontroler und einen Exchange 2003. Alles Funktioniert soweit auch.
Die DC's sind im 2003er mode.

Wenn ich nun den Befehl "setup /prepareAD" ausführe, erscheint der Fehler. Er kann angeblich nicht auf ein Objekt zugreifen. Installation unter dem Domain-Admin-Acount.

Was mache ich falsch? Was habe ich vergessen bzw. was kann ich noch tun?
Das benannte objekt existiert übrigens tatsächlich nicht! Warum? Keine Ahnung!

PS.: Ich habe den alten Server nicht installiert...

Hallo,

auf welchem Server führst Du die Vorbereitung aus? Auf dem Windows Server 2008 / 2008 R2 oder auf einem DC?

Schaue bitte einmal in die ExchangeSetupLogs und außerdem in die Ereignisanzeige, ob weitere Fehler protokolliert werden (rundum Exchange).
Ansonsten kannst Du die SystemMailbox auch "manuell" neu erstellen lassen!

Hallo,

Ich habe es auf beiden Seiten versucht:

zukünftiger Exchange: W2K8 R2
aktueller DC: W2K3
Der Fehler ist auf beiden seiten der gleiche!

Wie kann ich den diese SystemMailbox neu erstellen lassen? Im Netz habe ich immer wieder gelesen, über das ausführen von "setup /prepareAD" HaHa sehr lustig...


Hier mal die letzten Zeilen aus der LogDatei:
Weiter unten sind auch noch 2 Einträge aus der Ereignisanzeige, sagen aber alle "das Gleiche"!

Hallo,

Ich habe herausgefunden wo drna es gelegen hat...

Auf dem Sec. DC war der Katalogdienst aktiv, auf dem DC01 aber nicht!

Nach einschalten des Dienstes, konnte ich problemlos die Domäne vorbereiten...
Vermutlich hat er irgendetwas erstellt und dann direkt danach erwartet, das es da ist! -> durch die relativ langsame Replikation war es noch nicht da!
Blöder "Fehler"!

PS.: Jetzt dachte ich Super, jetzt läuft alles durch, aber nein am Hub Transport schlägt er fehl! Werde selbst erstmal suchen, scheint ja ein bekanntes Problem zu sein!
