zweites OS lässt sich nicht installieren
Wer kennt sich mit Thinkpads (Lenovo/IBM) aus? Die Festplatte wird beim booten von CD nicht erkannt
Hallo zusammen,
ich habe ein Thinkpad Z61p von Lenovo hier stehen und möchte auf einer gesonderten Partition eine zweite XP Umgebung installieren.
Beim Booten von CD bzw. beim starten der Installationsroutine bekomme ich die Meldung das keine Festplattenlaufwerke gefunden werden konnten und dann kann ich den Rechner nur noch neu starten.
Kennt jemand dieses Problem, ist das wieder so ne IBM Geschichte?
Hoffe ihr könnt mir auch hier weiter helfen!?

Das Problem hat sich von selbst bzw. ich hab es selbst gelöst.
Man muss hier einen zusätzlichen Treiber herunterladen, der nicht vorinstalliert ist.
Über Umwege ist das Ganze dann auch in der IBM Hilfe nachlesbar.

hast du an SATA gedacht! Der Win XP bringt SATA treiber nicht mit
Du sollst mit Nlite dir Win XP CD +SATA treiber basteln.

vielleicht ein bißchen spät, aber vielleicht für andere hilfreich.
Die Installation geht auch einfacher:
Einfach im Bios SATA auf Kompatibilitätsmodus schalten - Win XP installieren - AHCI-Treiber installieren - im Bios wieder auf AHCI schalten - XP erkennt veränderte Hardware automatisch

and extract the driver to C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM.
7. Run Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver. To do this, go to
C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM\PREPARE, and double-click install.cmd.
8. Turn the computer off and then on again.
9. Start the BIOS Setup Utility menu.
10. Select Config.
11. Select Serial ATA (SATA).
12. Select AHCI.
13. Start Windows XP. The Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard
appears.
14. Click No, not this time, and then click Next.
15. Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced), and
then click Next.
16. Select Search for the best driver in these locations. Then
select Include this location in the search:, specify the path,
C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM, and click Next. The Completing the Found
New Hardware Wizard appears.
17. Click Finish.
18. When the System Settings Change window appears, click Yes. The
computer restarts.
