BackupExec mit Quantum SuperLoader 3 keine Kompression mit neuen Bändern
Hallo,
ich habe folgendes Problem, seit ein paar Tagen macht mein SuperLoader Probleme.
Wenn er ein neues Band bekommt macht er keine oder nur eine geringe Kompression.
Ich haben 12 Bänder im Umlauf für Montag - Samstag und am Sonntag bekommt er ein
frisches Band, welches dann in den Safe wandert. Da die Sonntagsbänder immer neue
sind tritt nur das Problem bei der Sonntagssicherung auf.
Bis vor 1 bis 2 Wochen hat er die neuen Bänder alle ohne Probleme geschluckt doch nun
schlägt jede Sicherung fehl.
Der Job hat ne Größe von 571 GB welche an den anderen Tagen Problemlos komprimiert und
gesichert werden.
Zur Hardware:
Quantum Superloader 3 Firmware 90, mit LTO 3 HH Laufwerk Firmware 2180.
SCSI HBA Adaptec 29320-LPE neuster Treiber von der Webseite.
Zur Software
Windows 2003 Server R2 mit aktuellem Patchlevel
BackupExec Quickstart version 11 mit neustem ServicePack(Build 7170).
Folgendes habe ich bis jetzt probiert:
- 2 mal mit neuem Reinigungsband gereinigt
- BackupExec Treiber neu installiert
- gleichen Job an einem anderen Tag und Uhrzeit ausgeführt.

Hallo Gnarf,
ich hatte das xTalk Programm installiert und durchlaufen lassen. Es gibt bei manchen Tests Probleme und bei manchen nicht. Mir ist nicht wirklich klar woran das ganze liegt. Ich habe die Tests mit verschiedenen Tapes probiert und
kann eigentlich ausschliessen das es an den Tapes liegt, da neue öfters fehlerhafte Tests verursachen als gebrauchte.
Ich habe auch neue Tapes von unterschiedlichen Herstellen ausprobiert (Quantum, Sony).
Für mich sieht es irgendwie aus als ob das Laufwerk ne macke hat aber dann sollte er ja immer Fehler machen doch die Kompressionstests scheinen gut zu funktionieren.
Anbei ein paar Auszüge aus den Logs wo er Fehler ausgegeben hat.

Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass du ein Reinigungsband getestet hast; deswegen glaube ich das Zeile #905 den besten Hinweis gibt.
Genau sagen kann ich es allerdings auch nicht. Du koenntest die Errorlogs dem Onlineservice ueberstellen, der ein Bestandteil der Konsole ist..oder war...
