R.J.

Hi.
If the contact is using the same alias you either have to give the contact another "internal" alias or deactivate it. Two AD Objects with the same alias are not possible. After you have done that, refresh the email address policy or manually modify the alias of the new mailbox.
The alias is normally created by the default email address policy which defines the format how an address is build. If the system recognizes that there is already an object with the alias m.mustermann, it appends a number to it, entirely logical.

Hello Highload,

thanks for your fast answer.
Yes it sounds logical that´s why I also thought that it was caused of the alias of the contact. I already changed the alias of the contact and tried it again with the problem but I think now I just overlooked something. I´ll try again tomorrow when I´m back in the office.

Change the alias of the contact and refresh the policy didn´t work for me but when I deleted the contact and tried it again to create the mailbox everything gone well.

Thank you.
