Hallo erstmal.......
Also ich hab es endlich geschafft Linux auf meinem Rechner zu installieren. (hab schon mal Probleme gehabt mit meinen 2 SATA HDD)
Ich habe mir eine 3 HDD gekauft (ATA) und darauf jetzt SUSE 9.3 Prof. installiert.
Linux läuft, aber ich bin schon auf einige Probleme gestossen.Ich hoffe das mir jemand helfen kann.
1. Ich kann vom Bootmanager kein Windows starten. Kommt eine Fehlermeldung: Falsches Dateisystem
Damit ich Windows starten kann muss ich im Bios die Bootreihenfloge ändern.
2. Der Netzwerkadapter wird nicht erkannt. Es handelt sich um ein Nforce 1Gbit Ethernet. MB ist ein MSI-K8N NEO 4. Wie kann ich das hinbekommen?
3. Ich habe auch ein Problem mit der Soundkarte(onboard). Wird zwar ohne Probleme erkannt, nur kann ich keine Files abspielen. Habe es einmal geschafft das ich ein Mp3 file zum laufen bringe doch dann hängt sich das Programm auf. Oder ich kann die Mp3's gar nicht starten. Passiert einfach nichts. Die Mp3 Files liegen auf der 2 HDD (NTFS). Was kann hier das Problem sein?
Hoffe das mir jemand helfen kann. Bitte berücksichtigen daß ich absoluter LINUX newbi bin!

die nvida chipsätzte sind nicht ganz ohne unter Linux.
Du braucht die nvdia Platformteiber für Linux

Das mit dem bootmanger veruschen wir denn später mal
hmmmm... funktioniert nicht so einfach wie ich mir das gedacht habe.
WIe installiere ich jetzt diese Treiber. Hab jetzt so ne .run Datei.
Habe aber keine Ahnung wie es jetzt weiter geht.
Komm mir vor als würde ich zum ersten mal vor dem PC sitzen

Ich benutzte kein SuSe deshlan noicht wundern, wenn etwas nicht gleich klapp
zu erst diese .rundatei mit
./xxxxxxx.run startten XXX =name
Dann sollte eigenlich alles von alleine gehen
Wenn du eine nvidia karte haste die selbe prozedure mit dem nvidia teiber. nur bei dei diesem muste denn per Hand eine Datei editieren

Muss ich diese .run Datei in der Konsole starten? Oder wo?

am besten läst du die maschine im rumleven 3 laufen, und das zu installieren.
Einfach an der konsole init 3 eingeben.
Dann in das verzeichnis gehen, wo du di Dtaie abgelegt hast.
und diese mit ./dateiname asuführen

Laut dem log würde ich sagen, du haste die 64Bite version von Suse. dann brauchst du auch den 64 Bit triber von nvida. diese ist hier:

Es funktioniert!
Lan und Sound werden richtig erkannt und funktionieren. Internet funkt. auch schon!
Bleibt noch das problem mit dem Bootmanager.

Nein Windows ist auf einer eigenen Platte. 1 ATA +2 SATA HDD'S . 1. Platte= Windows Systemplatte, 2.Platte= DATEN HDD, die 3 HDD ist eine ATA und nur für Linux bestimmt.
Die Linux Platte ist hda2 und Windows ist auf sda1
Dann versuche mal im Abschnitt

Man kann auch Linxu über den XP Bootmager starten. Dazu muss man den den code aus dem bootsektor von gruo in eine Datei kopieren. Ich schaue mal wo ich die alte Ct haben. Dort hatte die das mal beschrieben

Ich habs jetzt doch geschafft das ich mit dem GRUB windows oder linux wählen kann.
habe in der GRUB konfiguration die HDD Reihenfolge geändert. Als erste HDD jetzt die Windows SYSTEM platte eingestellt, und dann im BIOS die Bootreihenfloge auch wieder geändert.
Funktioniert Prima.

Jetzt werd ich versuchen das ich auch die MP3's unter Linux zum laufen bringe. Die Soundkarte funkt. soweit , aber ich kann keine mp3's abspielen. zumindest funkt. es nur mit dem Realpalyer und der hängt sich dann auch auf und ich hab ne wahnsinns CPU last! HAst du villeicht ne Idee was da schuld dran ist?
MP3 ist son ein probelm. da das ein Lizenpflichtiger code ist
Bei mir hat es was gebracht per SuSE Update sich die Bibliotheken für mp3 runterzuladen danach konnte ich mit xmms ohne Probleme Filme und mp3's abspielen.
