Bitte helft einen LINUX Neuling! :-)
Also ich hab es endlich geschafft Linux auf meinem Rechner zu installieren. (hab schon mal Probleme gehabt mit meinen 2 SATA HDD)
Ich habe mir eine 3 HDD gekauft (ATA) und darauf jetzt SUSE 9.3 Prof. installiert.
Linux läuft, aber ich bin schon auf einige Probleme gestossen.Ich hoffe das mir jemand helfen kann.
1. Ich kann vom Bootmanager kein Windows starten. Kommt eine Fehlermeldung: Falsches Dateisystem
Damit ich Windows starten kann muss ich im Bios die Bootreihenfloge ändern.
2. Der Netzwerkadapter wird nicht erkannt. Es handelt sich um ein Nforce 1Gbit Ethernet. MB ist ein MSI-K8N NEO 4. Wie kann ich das hinbekommen?
3. Ich habe auch ein Problem mit der Soundkarte(onboard). Wird zwar ohne Probleme erkannt, nur kann ich keine Files abspielen. Habe es einmal geschafft das ich ein Mp3 file zum laufen bringe doch dann hängt sich das Programm auf. Oder ich kann die Mp3's gar nicht starten. Passiert einfach nichts. Die Mp3 Files liegen auf der 2 HDD (NTFS). Was kann hier das Problem sein?
Hoffe das mir jemand helfen kann. Bitte berücksichtigen daß ich absoluter LINUX newbi bin!

Du braucht die nvdia Platformteiber für Linux
http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_nforce_1.0-0301.html
dieser ethält den treiber für IDE,Audio und Netzwerk.

WIe installiere ich jetzt diese Treiber. Hab jetzt so ne .run Datei.
Habe aber keine Ahnung wie es jetzt weiter geht.
Komm mir vor als würde ich zum ersten mal vor dem PC sitzen

zu erst diese .rundatei mit
./xxxxxxx.run startten XXX =name
Dann sollte eigenlich alles von alleine gehen
Wenn du eine nvidia karte haste die selbe prozedure mit dem nvidia teiber. nur bei dei diesem muste denn per Hand eine Datei editieren

Einfach an der konsole init 3 eingeben.
Dann in das verzeichnis gehen, wo du di Dtaie abgelegt hast.
und diese mit ./dateiname asuführen

Also ich habs geschafft die Datei zu starten. Dann bin ich aber schon wieder auf ein Problem gestossen.
Das Inst. Prog startet und ich best. die Licence Meldung usw. Dann bekomm ich aber folgende Meldung:
No precompiled Kernel interface was found to match your kernel. (diese kann ich dann mit OK best.)
Dann kommt die Meldung:
ERROR:The nvidia kernel module was not created.
Diese Fehlerm. bekomm ich beim Sound sowie auch beim LAN treiber.
Was jetzt? (bin ziemlich Ahnungslos)

Es funktioniert!
Lan und Sound werden richtig erkannt und funktionieren. Internet funkt. auch schon!
Bleibt noch das problem mit dem Bootmanager.

Ich habs jetzt doch geschafft das ich mit dem GRUB windows oder linux wählen kann.
habe in der GRUB konfiguration die HDD Reihenfolge geändert. Als erste HDD jetzt die Windows SYSTEM platte eingestellt, und dann im BIOS die Bootreihenfloge auch wieder geändert.
Funktioniert Prima.

Jetzt werd ich versuchen das ich auch die MP3's unter Linux zum laufen bringe. Die Soundkarte funkt. soweit , aber ich kann keine mp3's abspielen. zumindest funkt. es nur mit dem Realpalyer und der hängt sich dann auch auf und ich hab ne wahnsinns CPU last! HAst du villeicht ne Idee was da schuld dran ist?
