Installieren von Externer Festplatte
Hallo zusammen,
Weiß jemand ob es eine Möglichkeit gibt einen PC zu Installieren von einer Externen USB Festplatte? Vielleicht ja sogar von einer ISO Datei die man sich sogar noch auswählen kann?
Meine Idee ist das man die Festplatte Startet dann Startet eine Software in der man das Gewünschte BS zur Installation auswählen kann und dann beginnt die Installation.
Gibt es sowas?

Entpack bspw eine Server 2012R2/ Win am 7 ISO direkt auf der exHDD und die Installation sollte laufen.

Das hat leider nicht funktioniert.
Hi,
you have to install the bootcode to the partition and make it active, to make this work.
This can be done with diskpart.
replace the X with your disk and partition numbers.You get these numbers with list disk and list partition.
Note: This must be a primary partition!
Also make sure to extract the iso contents to the disk. Do not copy the iso itself to the partition!
This works 100%, you can find this everywhere on the web.
