Port 3306 (MySQL) bei Win 2003 Server freigeben
hallo,
ich habe MySQL 5.0.37 auf meinen windows server 2003 installiert. Beim beenden des Konfigurationswizards kommt die Fehlermeldung:
Connection Error
The security settings could not be applied to the database because the connection has failed with the following error.
Error Nr. 1045
Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (unsing password: YES)
If a personal firewall is running on your machine, please make sure you have opened the TCP port 3306 for connections. Otherwise no client application can connect to the server. After you have opened the port please press [Retry] to apply the security settings.
Jetzt möchte ich den Port 3306 freischalten weis aber nicht wie das funktioniert.

hast du überhaupt die Windows Server 2003 Firewall aktiviert?? Denn standardmäßig ist diese nach der Installation deaktiviert.
Also ich habe eben einen Server in einer VM hochgezogen und MySQL installiert. Deinen Fehler habe ich nicht erzeugen können. Der Fehler wird erscheint, wenn du auf "Apply" gedrückt hast?! Nachdem Fehler einfach nochmal zurück und nochmal "Apply" ausführen. Dann sollte es gehen. Es dauert anscheinend ein weilchen, bis der SQL-Dienst gestartet ist.
