Sabayon emerge problem

Auf einem meiner Rechner läuft Sabayon Version 5 32bit jetzt wollte ich gestern das HPLIP Paket von HP installieren dann kam das Problem das xsance nicht installiert werden konnte..

ERROR: GTK-1.2.0 or newer is needed for compiling xsane
if you installed gtk as rpm make sure you also included
gtk-devel

der Fehler wird angezeigt dann hab ich probiert gtk+ zu installieren da kam dann gleich der nächste fehler...

kann mir jemand vielleicht sagen wie ich gtk drauf kriege??
