Hallo liebe Mitglieder,
ich wurde eingestellt in einer Firma als Systemadministrator. Die Firma arbeitet in Herstellungsbereich.
In den ersten Tagen musste ich festellen, dass einige Windows 2003 Server in der Firma schon uber 6 Jahre garnicht gepatch sind.
Einer der Server ist unser Terminal Server. Ich probierte den SP1 und SP2 einzuspielen, aber ohne Erfolg.
Der Fehler: "Setup could not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure the Cryptographic service is running on this computer"

Mit Hilfe von Google konnte ich rausfinden, dass der Zertifikat von der Datei SP2.cat, die in dem Verzeichnis "c:\3f24e3f8abfcb7adcac1942de2a45e87\i386\update\" vorliegt, muss installiert werden. Das ist mir geglueckt (denke ich), aber die Datei ist immer noch ungueltig. Was richtig kommisch ist, dass ALLE CAT Dateien (Security Catalogs) in dem Verzeichnis "C:\WINDOWS\system32\CatRoot\{F750E6C3-38EE-11D1-85E5-00C04FC295EE}" nicht gueltig sind.
Ich habe probiert mit "sfc /SCANNOW" es zu reparieren, aber die wiedergestellten CAT Dateien sind immer noch ungueltig.
Die Frage ist jetzt, wie stelle ich fest, welches Zertifikat mir die Probleme macht? Das Zertifikat "Microsoft Windows Publisher" sieht gut aus, obwohl die Gueltigkeit bis 18 Dez. 2003 ist.
Wie gesagt das Problem ist, dass alle CAT Dateien ungueltig sind. Wie repariere ich sowas?
Ich koennte das System neu installieren/reparieren, aber wir haben Software am laufen, die ich nicht anfassen soll/darf.
Hat jemand eine Idee wie ich die Zertifikate neu installieren soll? Oder ich bin total am falschem Problem?

Leider hatte ich keine Zeit um die Links zu testen, weil die Firma umzieht und andere Prioritaeten voran getrieben wurden.
Heute habe ich mal die Links angeschaut und alles ausprobiert ohne Erfolg.
Wo ich stecken bleibe ist and der Importierung jeglichen Security Zertifikats ins "Trusted Publishers" Sicherheitskontainer.
Ich kriege die Meldung: "The import failed because the store was read-only, the store was full, or the store did not open correctly."
Ich denke wenn ich dieses Problem loesen kann, dann waere ich in der Lage das SP1 order/auch SP2 zu installieren.
Leider konnte ich nicht vielles mit google finden. Hat jemand schon mal Erfahrung gehabt wie man Sicherheitszertifikate in das "Trusted Publishers" Sicherheitskontainer importiert?
