Microsoft Surface Pro 3 in der Dockingstation aufladen
Ein kleiner Tipp für alle die sich mit diesem, von Microsoft schlecht dokumentierten Problem rumschlagen:
Das Microsoft Surface Pro 3 läd im Auslieferungszustand nicht auf, solange es in der Dockingstation steht. Dies lässt sich beheben, indem man ein Systemupdate installiert, welches über Windows Update verteilt wird - jedoch nicht über einen WSUS! Bei einem unserer Surface Pro 3-Geräte habe ich das Problem gelöst, indem ich es temporär von den WSUS GPO's getrennt habe und die Updates übers Internet installiert habe.
Desweiteren fand ich diese Downloadseite zum Thema Treiber und Firmwareupdates des Surface Pro 3:

Bisher nur in englischer Sprache verfügbar, was aber vermutlich bei Treibern und Firmware nicht entscheidend ist.

Driver Deployment All of the drivers within the pack can be installed manually by right clicking on the device in device manager and selecting the appropriate driver to install. This is a laborious process. It is possible to automate this process using a PowerShell script that calls the PnPUtil utility. The following script iterates recursively through the pack and installs all of the drivers that it finds:

To use this script extract the driver pack and place the script in top level folder of the extracted zip file. Then execute the script, it will install all drivers (including firmware).
