FC6 dhcpd will nicht starten

Hallo

Ich habe auf einem Server Fedora Core 6 installiert.

Hab den DHCP fertig konfiguriert, aber dann, lässt er sich nicht starten.

service dhcpd start [FEHLGESCHLAGEN]

habe dann einiges Probiert - DHCP nachinstallieren usw.. hat aber alles nichts genützt.
dann hab ich die dhcpd.conf gelöscht und hab das SAMPLE file nach /etc/dhcpd.conf kopiert - dies sollte ja ohne Probleme funken.
Tut es aber nicht.

Hab die dhcpd.leases angelegt in /var/lib/dhcpd/dhcpd.leases und einmal in /etc/dhcpd.leases

Hat aber alles nichts gebracht - Finde nirgednwo im Internet eine Docu, warum das nicht funktioniert.
Habe einige HOWTOs ausprobiert, aber alles leider ohne erfolg. Kann mir einer von euch helfen und mir sagen, wass da nicht funktioniert.
Habs dann auch mit Webmin probiert, aber leider auch kein erfolg (hatte SELinux und die Firewall schon testweise deaktiviert, aber leider auch kein Erfolg)

wenn ich dhcpd -d aufführe kommt das dabei raus.

Und wo Trage ich da das Subnet ein??? für eth0???

No subnet declaration for eth0 (192.168.2.116).

du kannst ja mal bitte deine dhcpd.conf posten die findest du unter /etc/.
hier ist mal eine beispiel conf, deine müsste ähnlich aussehen:
option domain-name "example.com";  
option domain-name-servers ns1.example.com;
option subnet-mask 255.255.255.0;
default-lease-time 600;
max-lease-time 7200;
server-name "servername";  

subnet 192.168.1.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 {
  range 192.168.1.200 192.168.1.253;
