Spoolsv.exe verursacht 100 Prozent CPU-Auslastung Win Server 2003
Hallo zusammen,
auf einem meiner Citrix Server (Win Server 2003, aktuellster Patchlever) verursacht die spoolsv.exe 100% CPU-Auslastung.
Ich kann mir das nicht erklären und hoffe, dass einer von euch mir einen Tipp geben kann, woran es liegt.
Googlen hat mir nichts gebracht, jedenfalls habe ich nichts hilfreiches gefunden.

spollsv.exe ist die Druckerwarteschlange. Hatte das Problem auch schonmal, weiß aber nicht mehr genau woran das lag. Habe aber nach kurzer suche folgendes gefunden:
Check the following registry key for third-party print providers, removing any non-default print providers after exporting the
key as a backup:
KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Providers
The default print providers are:
Internet Print Provider
LanMan Print Services
Check the following registry key for third-party monitors, removing any non-default monitors after exporting the key as a
backup:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors
The default port monitors are:
AppleTalk Printing Devices (When Services for Macintosh is installed)
BJ Language Monitor
Local Port
PJL Language Monitor
Standard TCP/IP Port
USB Monitor
Windows NT Fax Monitor
LPR Port
We would then need to stop and restart the Print Spooler service for these changes to take affect. Once this is done watch
the Spoolsv.exe process to see if it still uses a high percentage of CPU.

Hi Basti,
die Spoolsv.exe ist ja die Druckerwarteschlange, das heißt im Normalfall entweder jemand hat einen richtig dicken Druckauftrag abgesetzt, ein Druckertreiber macht Probleme, oder im Temp-Verzeichnis des Spoolers ist Schrott der die Druckerwarteschlange "iritiert".
