gelöst Nach upgrade von 12.04 auf 12.10 kein Sound
Hallo Linux-Männer,
ich habe Upgrade, von 12.04 auf 12.10 danach kam kein Sound mehr, vorher funtzt es bei 12.04
danach sagt er das:

... ich google das mal fix :"I fixed it by running alsamixer, and changing AUTO-MUTE MODE from ENABLE to DISABLE."

Hi,
Das Paket "hal" ist wohl in älteren Versionen unbedingt benötigt worden, nun nicht mehr. Das wird nur eine Infomeldung dazu sein.
Schau mal lieber ob Du in den Systemeinstellungen-Multimedia-Phonon alles richtig eingestellt hast.
Im Zweifelsfall mal "Pulseaudio" deinstallieren, macht oft Probleme.

Nein, da muss die Soundkarte drin stehen, das ist ein Treiberproblem. Das passiert häufig wenn Pulseaudio installiert ist, sollte das der Fall sein, einfach mal testweise deinstallieren.
