Windows Server 2012 R2 Essential - OEM Installationsmedium als virtuelle Maschine installieren
Hallo zusammen
Weiss jemand von Euch, ob es beim HPE 748919-B21 Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials ROK Artikel, die Option bei der Installation gibt, Windows Essential als Virtuelle Maschine zu installieren?

Hatte ein HPE Techniker im Chat, der keine Ahnung hatte. Er meinte ich müsste Hyper-V separat dazu kaufen....

Each license covers a single two-processor server. You may run the server software in one physical OSE and in one virtual OSE. This virtual OSE can only be for Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials, not any other OSE. If you run all the permitted instances, the instance in the physical OSE can only be used to manage the virtual OSEs for Windows Server Essentials 2012 R2.Gruß,

Das war mir schon klar.
Mich würde es einfach wunder nehmen, ob HP diese Installationsvariante, 2012 R2 Essential als virtuelle Maschine, im Installationsmedium, anbietet oder ob man mit dem Installationsmedium nur Essentials auf einem physikalen Server installieren kann ohne Hyper-V Option.

Mir ist nicht bekannt das HP Microsoft Server 2012R2 Essentials baut oder programmiert hat. Das ist immer noch Microsoft, oder hat HP MS aufgekauft?
Das sagt es doch eindeutig und deine EULA sollte es auch sagen, oder brauchst du eine Rechtlich bindende Deutsche Übersetzung?

Auch auf die Gefahr hin mich zu wiederholen, You may run the server software in one physical OSE and in one virtual OSE.
