WLC Lancom Factory Reset funktioniert nicht
Hallo, ich habe einen WLC-4025+ von Lancom gebraucht erstanden und habe es bisher nicht hinbekommen, diesen auf die Werkseinstellungen zurückzusetzen.
Bei den LN-630acn, die ich dazu erstanden habe, funktionierte das per Büroklammer-Reset 15s bis zum 2. roten Leuchten hervorragend. Diese sind per Netzwerk zu erreichen und warten nur auf den funktionierenden WLC. Nur mit diesem klappt es eben nicht!
Ich hatte mir dann ein serielles Kabel und einen Seriell-USB-Adapter zugelegt und meinen Windows-11-Pro-PC mit dem WLC verbunden. Das geht sowohl über putts/mobaxterm als auch über LANConfig. Ich komme also mittlerweile drauf, kann auch über den Setup-Assistenten eine IP-Adresse setzen, kann den WLC aber über mein Netzwerk nicht erreichen.
Factory Reset in Form von mind. 15s die Resettaste drücken und auf 2x Leuchten aller LEDs warten funktioniert nachwievor nicht. Ich glaube, daran liegt es auch, dass ich nicht per TCP auf den WLC komme.
Gibt es einen Konsolenbefehl, den mir Lancom bislang nicht sagen konnte, um einen Werksreset durchzuführen? DHCP-Server ist ausgeschaltet, das Netzwerk steht auf LAN-1, hatte aber auch schon eine Bridge probiert. Nichts, was ich ändere, funktioniert.
Wer kann mir hierzu bitte helfen oder Tips geben? Ich stelle selbstverständlich gerne noch mehr Informationen bereit. Vielen Dank!

Auf die Schnelle habe ich im Manual, Seite 28/29 (https://www.lancom-systems.de/download/LC-WLC-4006/LC-WLC-MANUAL-EN.pdf) Link) gefunden, dass man über das GUI das Verhalten des Reset-Knopfes einstellen kann, dass dieser nicht mehr auf Reset reagiert.
Dort steht auch:

Hallo Daniel, das ist superlieb, das Du gleich geschaut hast. Ja, das LCOS Manual hatte ich auch gelesen; ich hatte dann über die konsole die Reset-Config Button Einstellung auf "reset und booten" gestellt, aber ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob das ausreicht. Mein Hauptproblem ist die Einstellung unter IPV4-> IP-Netzwerke. Dort habe ich einen IP vergeben, aber der WLC ist darüber einfach nicht erreichbar, egal, welche Einstellungen ich vornehme oder wie oft ich "resette". Vielleicht bin ich einfach zu doof.
Achso: eine neue Firmware hatte ich bereits per USB hochgeladen, aber auch da keine Änderung des Verhaltens.

If both memory spaces of the boot configuration are occupied (i.e. with customer-specific standard settings and a rollout configuration), then the device cannot be reset to the factory settings by using the reset button. The same applies if the function of the reset button is restricted to Ignore or Boot only and the configuration password is no longer available. In this case, you can only reset to the factory settings by means of the serial interface (outband).
The serial interface is an optional way to upload firmware into the device. Entering the serial number of the device instead of the configuration password results in the device configuration being reset to its factory settings. In this way you can always regain access to the device if it becomes impossible to restore the factory settings in any other way.
Important: This procedure completely deletes the configuration and the boot configurations stored on the device! The same applies to files stored in the device, such as any available rollout certificates. For this reason you should only use this option if you have no other way of accessing the device. The configuration and boot configuration are deleted even if the firmware upload is interrupted.
