Installation MS Vista x64
Installation bricht ab mit Meldung - kein 64 Bit Prozessor...?
Ich wollte auf einer virtuellen Maschine (MS Virtual PC2007) mal das Vista 64 bit installieren. Mein PC hat einen AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Prozessor/ 2GB Arbeitsspeicher. Von daher wollte ich es einfach mal testen.
Jedoch bricht die Installation ab mit der Meldung mein CPU würde keine 64 Bit unterstützen? Hab ich irgendwas nicht mitbekommen?
Die Meldung lautet:
Info: Attempting to load a 64-bit application, however this CPU is not compatible with 64-bit mode.

Du greifst aber nicht direkt auf die Hardware zu sondern über die VM, deswegen hast du in einer vm auch keine gute 3D beschleuigung weil nicht die interne karte vom gastsystem in der VM ist.
Es wird nur alles "emuliert" in der VM, Netzwerkkarte Graphikkarte Soundkarte. Und in der VM wird einfach nur ein 32 bit proz. emuliert.
